How do you make sure custom software does not become obsolete in a few years? +
At DESIC we do not build dead ends. We design all our software with modern, modular architectures and standard APIs that ease future integration with other systems, on technologies widely backed by the global community. At the end of the project we offer evolutionary support and preventive maintenance plans so your application keeps growing at the same pace as your organisation.
Will the custom software be 100% owned by my company? +
Absolutely yes. The source code and intellectual exploitation rights belong entirely to you, as set out in the contract. We do not believe in locking clients in through technical ties, but through trust and quality of service: if in the future you decide to manage or evolve the system in-house or with another provider, you will have full freedom and the necessary documentation to do so.
How do you guarantee on-time, on-budget delivery? +
Our success is based on an exhaustive initial consulting phase, where we define the scope in detail before writing the first line of code. We work with agile methodologies: the project is split into periodic functional deliveries, you see real progress every few weeks and correct course in time. What we sign in the scope is what gets delivered and invoiced.
What security and data protection measures do you implement? +
Security is not a last-minute add-on; we design it from the root of the application. We hold the ISO 27001 certification (Information Security) and comply with the Spanish National Security Framework (ENS): strict data encryption protocols, user role control, secure development and isolated test environments.
Can the new development be integrated with the systems we already use (like our ERP)? +
Of course. Modern software must know how to communicate: we design applications ready for integration through web services and APIs. Whether with an existing ERP (such as SAP or Oracle), payment gateways, existing databases or public administration platforms, the data flow will be automatic, bidirectional and secure, avoiding duplicated work.
